Terms of Service

These terms cover how you can use this website and the basics of working with Grayshaper. We wrote them in plain words so they are easy to follow.

01About these terms

By using this website you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the site. “We” and “us” mean Grayshaper, a studio based in Chattagram, Bangladesh. “You” means the person or company using the website or hiring us.

02What we do

We design and build websites and online stores, and we help them show up in search. This website tells you about our services. It is not an offer to sign a contract.

Every project is agreed in writing before we start. That can be a quote, a proposal or a simple agreement, and it says what we will do, what it costs and how long it should take. If it says something different from these terms, the project agreement wins.

03Using the website

Please use the website in a fair way. Don't:

  • try to break into it, overload it or disturb how it works
  • send spam or fake messages through the contact form
  • copy our content in bulk, or use it to pretend to be us
  • use it for anything illegal

We may block anyone who does these things.

04Quotes and payment

We give you a fixed price before the work starts. Each quote shows how long it stays valid. Payment amounts and dates are written in the quote or agreement, and you agree to pay on time.

If you ask for extra work that wasn't in the original scope, we will tell you the cost first and wait for your yes before we start.

05Your content

You are responsible for the text, images, logos and other material you give us. Please make sure you have the right to use it. You keep ownership of it, and you let us use it only to do your project.

We like to show our work. Unless you ask us in writing not to, we may show your finished project and the name of your business in our portfolio.

06Who owns what

Once you have paid in full, you own the final website design and code we made for you.

We keep the rights to our own tools, templates and know-how, which we use for many clients. Software, themes, plugins, fonts and photos made by other people stay under their own licenses, and you may need to pay for them.

07Other platforms and tools

Your website may run on platforms we don't own, such as Shopify, WordPress, Vercel or Squarespace. They have their own terms, prices and downtime, and we aren't responsible for changes or problems on their side.

08Results

We work hard to make websites fast and easy for search engines to read. But search engines change their rules often, so we can't promise a certain ranking, number of visitors or amount of sales.

09If something is wrong

If something we built doesn't work the way we agreed, tell us and we will fix it. Your project agreement explains how long you have to report problems.

10Information on this website

We try to keep this website correct and up to date, but we can't promise it is always free of mistakes. Our past projects are examples of our work. Your results can be different.

11Our responsibility

As far as the law allows, we are not responsible for indirect losses, such as lost profit, lost business or lost data. For any project, the most we can owe you is the amount you paid us for that project.

Nothing in these terms limits anything that the law doesn't allow us to limit.

12Ending a project

You can stop a project at any time by telling us in writing. You then pay for the work we have already done. We may pause or stop work if payments are late, and we will tell you before we do.

13Which law applies

These terms follow the laws of Bangladesh. If we can't sort out a problem together, it will be handled by the courts in Bangladesh.

14Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top of the page shows when they last changed. If you keep using the website after a change, that means you accept the new version.
